CIPHER3[ Glyph · Private Preview ]

An open standard for the shapes of hidden control.

Glyph is an open, machine-readable language for obfuscated beneficial ownership and control — the patterns hidden in public registry data, and the matcher that finds them.

Open standards record ownership structure — that A owns B. Nothing open describes how that structure is used to hide, and nothing matches reliably when the data is incomplete. That gap is Glyph.

The standard

The unit is the glyph: one readable, versioned pattern carrying its own counter-evidence, its named competing hypotheses, and a hard limit on what a match may be taken to prove about a person.

Patterns are written in a frozen, versioned vocabulary in which each concept declares whether the public record can even see it. It docks into the open ownership standards rather than replacing them.

The matcher

The matcher weighs a pattern against the public record and stays precise about what's missing — separating “not found” from “contradicted” from “can't tell”.

It surfaces the competing hypotheses too, and refuses to claim more than the record proves. Because it won't stretch, a candidate it does surface is earned.

Restraint

A match is a candidate for human review — never a verdict. Every result carries its attribution ceiling — the most it may claim about a person — the competing hypotheses that fit the same facts, and a candid account of what the public record cannot show.

Restraint is built into the product.

Each obfuscation pattern is a shape in the public record — a growing, validated library, each entry mapped from published typologies and checked against real enforcement records.
